Since this is a generic medication, it is manufactured by several different companies, so it is most probable that your pharmacy didn't have enough to completely fill your prescription from one manufacturer, so they had to finish filling it with one from a different company.
The FDA lists its typical side effects as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, diarrhea, and non-allergic skin rash.
