This is my first month being on sprintec, or any other birth control and i started my fourth white pill this morning and I still haven't had my period. I was prescribed the Sunday start plan but I was confused on how it worked so I ended up not starting the pills until a week and a day after my period. I started having cramps and normal period symptoms about a week and a half ago ( around my normal period arrive date) but no bleeding or spotting or anything. Is it normal to not have a period your first month of sprintec if you start it a week after you're suppose to???

Did you engage in intercourse during the first week of taking it, without using additional protection? If so, there may be a chance that you're pregnant. Oral contraceptives are not immediately effective, unless they are started on the first or second day of your period, according to FDA provided instructions.
The typical side effects, according to the NIH, may possibly include irregular periods, headache, dizziness, and PMS-like symptoms.
However, some women do not have periods, while taking oral contraceptives.

I have never been on any type of birth control ever. So i have sprintec now and Today(sunday) Is the first day of my period. So do i take my first pill today because its sunday and the first day of my period. Or do i wait til the first sunday after my period. Which would be the following sunday?

Hi I’ve taken Sprintec before and like it. So I’m started taking it again. Have been taking it again for the past three weeks. I started the white pills this past Sunday and still no period. I have never not had a period while on this. So should I be concerned cause I had a PMS symptoms but no bleeding.
