Missing Periods Due To Trapic Tablet

My Daughter Who Is 14 Years old had severe menses bleeding during her exams. So when we consulted the Gynocologist she prescribed Trapic Tablets. My daughter's bleeding has stopped immediately. However she didn't get her periods after that for last 5 months. What may be the reason for her missing her period after taking trapic tablet? All her physical exams including sonography and thyriod came out normal.
