Mineral Deficiency

I have been on carisoprodol&nucynta for 2yrs for muscle spams & knots all over my body.I also take gabapentin&thyroid mess for hypothyroidism.Could these meds deplete potassium levels?

Has blood work shown yours to be low?

It can happen for many reasons and may not necessarily be related to any medications that you're taking.

It could just simply be due to not taking in enough of it in your diet, because it can be hard to eat enough of the proper foods to meet the RDA.

However, before taking a supplement, you do need to make sure that it's needed, since too much of it can also be dangerous.
