Milligrams To Milliliters - What Is The Accurate Conversion (dose)?

Normally my daughter takes 1500 milligrams (three 500 mg tabs) of Depakote 2 x per day, however today the pharmacy gave me an eye dropper and "LIQUID" form. The label reads in milliliters so I do not know how many drops to give her?

Did they not put an amount on the prescription?

The should have provided you with an appropriate amount to give her, so you don't have to convert it yourself. If they didn't, you should contact them and ask why they did not do so.

No one online can give you answer without knowing the dosage of the liquid, and other specifics.

This medication is most commonly used to help prevent seizures. The FDA lists its typical side effects as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, mood changes, and weight changes.

However, if you can post back with more details, I will be glad to research this for you, if I can.
