Migraine Medicines

I was taking Epidrin for my migraines and it helped. It was taken off the market along with Midrin. Is there anywhere I can get it? Does anyone know of a pharmacy that makes the compound? I only have a few left and I'm feeling desperate.

Are there any other questions or comments?
Hi, I too took Midrin for about 20 years. They have come out with a new medication called PRODRIN, it replaces the sedative with caffienne. It is available by perscription and it works just as well. I had to tell my nuerologist about it. I found out from my pharmacist. I am grateful they didn't just throw out the whole idea. PASS THE WORD. There is a replacement! PRODRIN!!!

I am afraid that is about the average price from a compounding pharmacy and, it is actually cheaper than some formulations they put together.
You have to remember that when you go there for something, they aren't just taking pills from one bottle and putting them in another, like a pharmacy usually does. A compounding pharmacy actually has to put the medication together, which requires someone's time and skill.

Does anyone know of any others in NJ?
I live in New Jersey. A relative found a pharmacy that would make the compound, however, he wants over $130 for a thirty day supply! Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.
There are some compounding pharmacies that have been making it, if your doctor orders it.
Can you post back with, at least, your general location?
Our site is open to users all over the world, so just as an example, I know of several compounding pharmacies here in the Seattle metro area, but that's really not going to help you if you're in Georgia.
