What is it prescribed for? I have low blood pressure and lightheadedness. Will it help? Local pharmacists don't have it. Where can I get it?

Midrin is a combination drug containing Acetaminophen, Dichloralphenazone and isometheptene.
It is most commonly prescribed to treat headaches.
The reason your doctor probably prescribed it for you is the Isometheptene is vasoconstrictor, meaning it shrinks the blood vessels, so yes, it could help raise your blood pressure.
As to where to get it, I can only suggest calling pharmacist in surrounding areas and seeing if any of them carry it or will order it in for you.
