what is this pill with the m in a square and 1721 on the other side? I found one in my sons room and am trying to find out what it is.

That is correct and I just want to add some updated information to this post.
Darvocet is no longer available on the U.S. drug market and in most other countries, due to the fact that Propoxyphene and its relatives were found to cause dangerous cardiac risks and there were an inordinate number of overdose fatalities.
