Micardis 80mg Bladder

After 5 years of taking Micardis, I read that it could be the cause of my Interstitial Cystitis (IC). DR stopped it & pain in bladder has subsided, but still have urethral burning. How long will it take for the Micardis to leave my system? I am now taking Clonidine I mg bid for BP. with some side effects from this med.

What side effects are you experiencing from the Clonidine? The FDA lists its typical ones as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, insomnia, constipation and diarrhea.

How long ago did you stop the Micardis? Depending on how long you were taking it, it may take several weeks.
