In regards to finding a local pain doctor, I posted below a couple webpages specific to locating pain management doctors and specialists in a given area. All you have to do is input your city or zip code for narrowed results:

You can give this other page a try too if you come up with different results for some reason or another:

I'd consider calling up a number of them to see if they are accepting new patients. You may even want to follow up in person to get a real vibe for the doctor. From what others have stated, most doctors are pretty lenient when it comes to prescribing Vicodin as opposed to some of the other stronger narcotics; so I think you should be good to go with just about any one of the PM doctors you find.
