I take 50mcg/h patches I was amazed out how well they worked (Cancer) I have been on Fentanyl for 5 months the first patches hardly worked from a generic company Sadoz.It felt like I was just putting a piece of scotch tape on myself I told my Dr and he explained some story about the drug companies are removing the gel and made this new format (so i have to suffer because he said people were able to get the gel out of the patches?. I filled my last 2 prescriptions at walgreens and they had your brand I was out of pain within a half hour -Are you switching to these flat patches? and if so PLEASE help me find a company that will still carry them !!!

I take fentanyl 75 mcg and change it every 48 he's. I've been getting them at Walgreens and idk if the pharmacist has me confused with someone else but now refuses to fill my rx. It's the main one in town and the other Walgreens never have 15 patches to fill my rx. It's a real pain I can only get 10 (20 day supply) then I have to go back to my Dr and get a new rx. I like Walgreens BC they have the Watson gel that stay stuck to my skin and work better than the others I tried at first. Can any one tell me of another pharmacy that has the Watson brand? Or another brand that works and stays stuck to your skin. The Watson brand works better than the name brand Durogesic.

If the brand name patch, Duragesic, is working better for you than the generics, then the only thing I can suggest is talking to your doctor and asking him to write 'Brand medically necessary' on the prescription, so the pharmacies no longer provide you with the generic.
