Metroprolol Tartant 50mg

Can this medication cause swelling? or Water retention I went on two new medication and not sure which one is causing the swelling although I always have problems with edima I seemed to have it under control this medication and on other was given to me.

Metoprolol is a beta blocker that is commonly used to treat high blood pressure and some cardiac conditions and, while it is rare, it has been known to cause some edema/fluid retention in some people.
