Metropolol Problem

Hi, i would really appretiate it if someone could give me advice. I have had heart problems since i was a teen. Nothing serious but when i recently(finally) got it checked out the doctor perscirbed me, Metropolol 25mgs. Long story short, it was great. I was able to excersice without palpatations, or feeling like blacking out. Anyway, i dont have insurance anymore and i cant refill untl i get an X-Ray and have a doctor give me another script..Jesus Christ! I cant afford that. And, well looky here, conditions get worse when stopping? Wow i love doctors.. I can rant about how strongly i disagree on docotrs handing out scripts to patients and watching them either get hooked on pain killers, or go crazy on happy pills to only fix them by giving them more pills! Anyway, well i am getting a lot more palpatations then i have ever gotten. Its really frequent. How do i get more metroprolol without spending so much money? They say see your doctor for information. HAHA!! Like i have a doctor, sorry this isnt Canada. I dont have the income to have my own freeking doctor!!!!!! My apologies, i am just wondering if anyone could help me find a way to get more Pills so i can live a healthy life because apparently i am now co-dependent on these things. Thanks a lot.

There are actually 2 programs available for a name brand of Metoprolol, which is called Lopressor. The are designed to help people without insurance get the medications they need.

You would, however, still have to come up with a way to see a doctor to get a prescription.

Also contacting your local hospital's social services office may help you, as they can usually refer to you to low income/uninsured clinics and doctors in your area.

Stop drinking coffee. All my palpitations quit, steady now for a very long time. I only drink water process decaf. Best thing I ever did and I only drank 2 cups a day. Get off coffee. ASAP.
