whether its from the sun or aging, lately I have deleloped a few bumps under my skin. They are not itchy or inflamed, just bumps of different sizes. I drink bemetrozole for vaginal bacteria and now i am bleeding. Does that means i might lose my baby or having miscarriage? This tablet is now manufactured by Teva Pharmaceuticals and they list it as containing 500mgs of Metronidazole, which is an antibiotic and amebicide. Its typical side effects, as listed by the FDA, may possibly include nausea, dizziness, headache, skin rash and diarrhea. The one day dose regimen is to take 2 grams orally or to split it into two separate doses. The longer 7 day regimen is to take the 250mgs tablets 3 times a day for the full 7 days. Has your doctor prescribed this for you? One tablet isn't going to be enough.

Is it safe to take doxytet while breast feeding ## Doxttetracycline is an antibiotic and it can really depend on how long you are taking it. If you will be on it for a long term, then you may want to avoid breast feeding while taking it, because this class of antibiotics has been known to cause staining of the tooth buds of developing infants and children and this staining is permanent. If you are only on it for a short time, such as 10 days or so, then there shouldn't be any issues, because there hasn't been enough of it detected in the breast milk in such cases to cause harm. Can you please tell me - what country are you in? Secnidal (active ingredient Secnidazole) is used in the treatmen of amoebiasis, giardiasis, and trichomoniasis. It is closely related to Metronidazole. Some information on Metronidazole indicates that it does have an effect on the vaginal flora (bacteria), so I would not rule out what you are experiencing as a possibility. We have not been with anyone else so we know it is not a venereal disease, but do not know what it is and they want $450.00 co-pay at the hospital. It isn't good, nor safe to try to diagnose and treat it yourselves. Metronidazole might not be the right medication to treat his problem. If he goes to the ER, they cannot demand the copay upfront, they have to see him and send him a bill, at a later time.
