Metronidazole And Levofloxacin

I was treated for diarrhea, vomiting, and dehydration. They said I have bacteria growing in my stomach and prescribed me Metronidazole and Levofloxacin. What are those for?

These are antibiotics that are used to treat various types of bacterial infections.

The FDA lists the typical side effects as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, diarrhea, and non-allergic skin rash.
