I went to the hospital and was given metronidazole to take twice a day for 7 days. During this time i started to take them my period was suppose to come 4 days later but when that day came i had no period. I just wanna know is it possible this antibiotic is causing me not to have a period? And i have been breastfeeding my 1 year old... not a lot, just here and there because she trying to wean herself off. Could it harm her in anyway?

While the FDA does report that Metronidazole is secreted in breast milk, no adverse effects on infants have been reported.
As to your period, most antibiotics can cause irregularities, or delayed periods, according to the NIH.
Has there been any change? Have you started, yet?
