Hi, is it safe to go from 50 to 100 mg of Metoprolol?

Yes, such an increase is commonly done, when a patient hasn't fully seen improvement from the lower dosage.

Here's some Metoprolol dosing information.

However, the dosage should only be increased if a doctor has instructed the patient to do so.

Metoprolol may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, headache, dry mouth, hypotension, and increased urination.

Is there anything else I can help with?
