What does Take 1 Tablet by Mouth Three Times A Day mean? Should I take it every 8 hours?

Hello, Jackie! How are you? I'm sorry about the confusion, but I'm happy to clear it up for you.

If it doesn't specifically say to take one every 8 hours, then 3 times a day is upon waking/or with breakfast, a lunch time and another a bedtime. Though, you should double check with your doctor to be sure.

This medication is classified by the FDA as being a beta blocker that is most commonly used to treat high blood pressure and certain cardiac conditions. Typical side effects may possibly include nausea, dizziness, headache, stomach pain, increased urination and hypotension.
