Metoprolol Tartrate 25 Mg Same As Metoprolol Er 25 Mg?
UpdatedIs Metoprolol Tartrate 25 mg the same as Metoprolol ER 25 mg ?

No, if it does not have something such as an ER, SR, XR or CR following the medication name, then it is not necessarily that same thing.
Those abbreviations all signify that the medication is a controlled release formulation and one that does not have it is just the regular release formulation of the medication.
However, if you received one, in place of the other, at your pharmacy, you should ask them to double check, as it may just have been a typing or printing error.
