Metoprolol Tab 100 Mg Succ Er

Hi I am 65 and have been on a fluid pill and 150 tab metoprolol succ er,Dr wants me to drop the fluid pill and go to 200 metoprolol,thats seems like a lot .is it//WHAT IS THE MAXIUIM AMOUNT WE CAN TAKE///?? laura

For the extended release formulation, which is what you are taking, the maximum daily dosage can actually go as high as 400mgs. The regular release can go as high as 450mgs.

However, an increase in dosage may cause you to experience more side effects, such as nausea, dizziness and headache.
