after refill of the above, they do not seem to work the same way they did for treatment of my high blood pressure. The pill has the number 832 with a triangle and another triangle inside that one on the border, which appears above the number. The pill is round and white, scored on the side opposite the side on which the number appears. There is no mg amount listed on the pill. I want to be certain the pill matches the prescription.

Yes, the tablet does contain 100mgs of extended release Metoprolol.

However, there are 2 possibilities which could explain the problem.

One could be related to how long you've been taking the same dosage. If you've been taking it for a long time, you're body may just be used to it and you may require a dosage adjustment.

The other could be due to the allowable differences in generic medications, which means you may not be getting as much of the medication as you were, if you were taking a different medication before.

Have you contacted your doctor about it?
