i take metopolol OD yet no effect so i take anoher med which is losartan 50 is it ok

Yes, if you have been taking it for awhile and suddenly stop, without tapering it or replacing it with another similar medication, it can cause a rebound effect which may result in dangerously elevated heart rate and blood pressure.
