Metoprolol 50mg And 200mg

I was wondering if it's ok to take five 50 mg of metoprolol succinate er to get 250mg? I have been taking 200 mg of metoprolol succinate er and 50mg of metoprolol succinate er.

Yes, you can do that as long as it is a dosage approved by your doctor.

The FDA warns that this medication may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, headache, increased urination, and orthostatic hypotension.

Are you on any other medications? Why do you want to raise your dosage?
