Metoprolol 25mg

My doctor just put on Metoprolol ER Succinate 25 mg is this part of the recent recall?

Metoprolol is a beta blocker that is used to treat hypertension and some cardiac problems.

As to whether or not it was part of the recall, I can't tell you anything, without knowing the manufacturer of the particular pills you have receive, since this a generic that is made by several different companies and not all were involved in the recall.

However, it is doubtful that they are, since your pharmacy would have already removed anything that met the criteria of the recall from their shelves and returned them, so they are not dispensed to the public.

This medication may cause side effects, such as: nausea, dizziness, stomach pain and headache.
