i am using for metolor xr 25 for last seven month some times after i taken the tablets my heart beat also very slow and some sutting also coming to ceast area

kindly give me ur feedback

I had a heart valve replacement 9 weeks ago and started on 25 mg. twice a day of Metoprolol Tartrate. It dropped my heart rate down into the mid 40s after 2 weeks. Doctor suggested reducing dosage in half twice a day. After another week with little results, it was dropped to 12.5 mg once a day and my heart rate hovered in the low 50s at rest. After a 30 minute, two mile walk, my pulse rate never got up to 60 bpm. I feel exhausted trying to do anything. I get dizzy while driving the car. My stool is like concrete marbles even with large amounts of over the counter softener. Due to the dizziness while driving, I quit taking the medication. Heart rate and stool are back to normal. I do not get dizzy while exercising or driving. Blood pressure is up slightly (10 points)

I am 50 now. I am taking Metolar XR 25 for 9 days in morning and Amlokind 2.5 mg in afternoon as my doctor's prescription. Now my BP is 140/90. But 2-3 days I am feeling some tiredness, nervousness also more vertigo, body-swings like an 'earthquake'. My doctor is now out of station for 15 days. Do I stop the medicine? Please suggest me.

I am taking Metolar xr 25 once a day since 6 weeks after valve replacement, now, I am feeling regular stomach pain. Is this due to side effect ?
