Metoclopramide is an antiemetic and gastroprokinetic agent, in the absence of other reasons for migraines, it is sometimes given if your doctor feels that there's a chance that gastric statis is causing the migraines.
And yes, it can cause drowsiness and fatigue, as side effects, along with constipation and hypotension.
Metoclopramide is reportedly effective in the treatment of both the pain and nausea of migraine headaches.
Common adverse drug reactions associated with Metoclopramide therapy include restlessness, drowsiness, dizziness, fatigue, and focal dystonia.
