Methylprednisolone Pill Pack Or Shot?

I've done the 4mg pill regiment. I did fine. But only felt about 2weeks of relief. It's been two months ago, now I'm on day two of new six day pill regimen and it's causing me bad nausea this time around. Has anyone taking the shot? If so please give details? How many shots? Any side effects? How long dose it help for? How often can you take it? Thanks in advance!

Hello, Ronnie! How are you? I am sorry about the problems you're experiencing.

The shot and pills are about the same, so your period of relief will be very similar, so will the side effects, according to the NIH. You may also experience dizziness, insomnia, heart palpitations, and headache.

As to how many shots, or how often, that really depends on what your doctor feels is safe for you.
