Methylprednisolone For A Sunburn
UpdatedWill this medicine help a sunburn? I used a tanning ban and got really burned all over. I'm on day 5 using a cream prescribed with silver but was wondering if methylprednisolone oral 4 mg would help also?

Don't take the oral... you'll be suffering side effects of the oral longer than you would of the sunburn....
Methylprednisolone will not do anything to alleviate sunburn, or the pain it causes. It is used to treat allergic reactions, inflammation and immune disorders.
The FDA lists its typical side effects as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, insomnia, nervousness, and fluid retention.
How did you end up getting burned to badly?
