Methylprednisolone Dosage Pack

I was prescribed methylprednisolone yesterday and took day all 6 pills, now I have a horrible headache. I've had ulcer symptoms before and I take protonix daily, so I take as little excedrin as possible. The headache is horrible. I took an excedrin this morning, and now I want to stop taking the steroid dose pack all together, will that be ok?

No, you should follow the instructions and taper, otherwise complication can arise that could cause even more serious health issues.

Headaches can be a normal side effect of this medication, according to the FDA, along with nausea, dizziness, insomnia and acne.

If it's okay with your doctor, you may want to skip Excedrin and try just taking regular Tylenol for the headaches.
