Methylprednisolone And Blood Pressure

I started the Methylprednisolone dose pack for sciatica yesterday and my blood pressure was 98/78 and pulse 89. Today my blood pressure was 121/98 and pulse 109.

That is normal, Methylprednisolone is a steroid class medication and it is well know to cause elevated blood pressure and heart rate as side effects, according to FDA reports, you may also experience nausea, dizziness, headache, weight changes, and acne.

How are you doing, now? Has there been any change?
