I want to know the combined therapeutic advantages of taking gabapentin with methylcobalamin (i.e., synergistic effects and also whether there's any drug to drug interaction between these two substances)?

Hello, Nagarjuna! How are you?

Methylcobalamin is actually not a drug. It is just a form of vitamin B12 often used in these combination medications, because it is believed to support nerve health.

However, since it is just a nutritional supplement, there are no synergistic effects and no known interactions.

The only actual drug involved here is the Gabapentin, which is an anticonvulsant that's been shown to help with certain types of nerve pain and some mood disorders.

It may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, dry mouth and weight changes.
