This medication doesn't actually treat a disease, per se, it is used to treat certain types of nerve pain, which could be caused by a disease, but it could also be caused by injury.

The actual medication that could cause most side effects in this drug is the Gabapentin, it is an anticonvulsant that also helps with certain types of nerve pain due to the way it acts on chemicals in the brain.
