I was positive for methadone on a drug test. I did not take it though. I had a severe flu and I took nyquil tabs, dayquil also q-pap (kids Tylenol) and suboxone. But the test said methadone, which I can't even take because of a bad reaction I had years ago when they tried to prescribe it for pain. I gave it back the next day to my doctor.

What can u use to get 49 mg methadone out of my system asap? I have a ua in two days. ## Dear Just a druggie , I would suggest getting a clean urine at the store and drink tons of water. Also, what's really good at flushing out your bladder and kidneys, Cranberry juice. U may not like it, but, it's a good thing 2 drink. GOOD LUCK! ## Usually it's out of your system in 3 days. However, companies cannot hold methadone against you as long as it's prescribed.

Need for well documented chronic post spinal fuision. ## It is a very common misunderstanding that there are doctors that treat with any specific medication, except in the case of those that have been trained in addiction treatment. Thus, there is no way to find a doctor for pain that treats with any specific medication. What you need to look for is a pain management specialist, but you can't call asking about any certain drug. If you do that, they will see it as being drug seeking behavior and they won't even let you get in the door. You need to set up an appointment, make sure they receive a full copy of your most recent medical records, then keep the appointment and discuss your treatment options with them. Hi I've been addicted 2 opiates nearly 20 yrs. For the last 3 (almost 4) yrs my fiance has been sharing his methadone w/ me. I know its wrong but I don't have any insurance and I'm so tired of pill hunting, and now I'm tired of him holding it over my head and worrying all the time if I'm gonna have it. I live in Mt Airy NC. Can someone please tell me what to do and where can I go for help w/ no insurance.. 50mgs a day.

I have been on Methadone for 12 years prescribed for severe arthritis. Now all Doctors at clinic are hell bent on taking every patient off of any narcotic pain reliever. I am addicted to 40 mg of methadone divided up to two doses a day which means 20 milligrams two times a day. I was on two pills am three p.m. but they reduced dose. I developed such severe pain for over 6 weeks that my blood pressure skyrocketed and I developed a flo vent murmur of my heart. Now these doctors are going to take another 10 mg pill away, I fear i will be in a wheelchair or dead. Hi I wonder if anyone can help. I'm newly on methadone and have not been to a dentist in years :( Anyway, turns out I need to get 2 fillings. What happens when the patient is on methadone? Will the anaesthetic still work as normal to prevent pain? What about pain afterwards? Or if it turned out I needed more treatment? What can someone on methadone be given for pain relief for what I imagine would be 4-7 days worth?

I have been at the methadone clinic for 15 years. I did a urine drug test and it came up false positive for methamphetamine. I have been clean for all those years. I have R.A. and I also take humira, benedryl, and zantac 150.. Will those meds show up false positive? I promise u I don't cheat...

I took Methadone 120 mg 2 years ago. Now I'm down to 28 mg. You have to be strong and willing to come clean. It hurts, but you`ll get used to it. Every week I take at least 2 mg off, sometimes more. When it gets too painful I help myself with, vitamins A, D and C, magnesium, liver vitamins and some Benzodiazepines, but not long, just a week. Then my body gets used to it and I keep taking the dose. When I feel okay again, I take less again, until it is gone. The finish is harder and you need all the help you can get, vitamins, immune system protection, magnesium, lots of fluids and sometimes a salt solution in veins, for the night. Can you take methadone 16 hours after taking a little less then half of a 8mg Subutex? ## Yes, but you may not feel the methadone. And it's the other way around, taking methadone then subutex can cause problems. ## I have been on suboxone for about three weeks and ran out, but went 4 days without then took 5 mg of methadone because that was all I had left. But it's been 19 hours since then. Can I take subutex again now or have to wait?

I need help finding a doctor in Michigan to prescribe me Methadone. Right now it is so hard and expensive, not to mention they are so hard to get they are around maybe once a month. About Me & A Question: After I stopped taking Dilaudid (prescribed) I got violently ill, freaked out and found myself at a for-profit methadone clinic. I was there for 6 months, my highest dose was 45 mg but I spent the majority of it at 30 mg. Even though I earned 3 take homes, I became VERY sick of driving in there 4 days a week and paying $450/month ($15 per day) and I wasn't there for the right reasons (because I freaked out from the previous withdrawal) so I started my detox and totally ignored their suggested schedule and did it my way (much faster). I've read nothing but horror stories about coming off methadone and the greedy people at my clinic told me I should drop 1 mg every 1-2 weeks. Additionally, asking for a specific medication will make most doctors suspicious and they won't want to prescribe anything. Do you currently have a PCP that could refer you to someone? I need to know if there is a brand name Methadone veris generic. I have been told that it is all the same. PLEASE HELP ## What that means is that the active ingredient in the tablets, in this case Methadone, is the same in all of them! It doesn't differ between the generic and the name brand. The name brand for Methadone would be Dolophine. Do you have any other questions? ## Yes, in Alberta it's called Metadol , Blue Cross pays hundreds every month , I pay $25.00 a month for 3 x a day of 25 mg pills. Do they make a fifteen milligram methadone pill ## No, the pill form is only available in 5, 10 and 40mg doses. As a matter of fact, I'm not seeing a 15mg listed in any of the dosage forms. Are you currently on Methadone? ## Depends on where you are I would say. In Calgary I get 25 mg pills from Shopper's Drug Mart so I don't have to take so many tiny 5-10 mg pills. They will order anything if they know you will get it filled there. They need some advance notice but they know it's a standing order now so now it's no problem. They don't make the pills at the pharmacy so it's where ever they order it from and many places have the 25 mg pills. I am on a very low dose of methadone now. My doctor is terrified to increase it. It's obvious I need more but I'm a bit skeptical to of this leading to a never ending rise. But I'm topping up and I'm sick and in pain. He seems terrified to prescribe anything though. Are all docs like this or just some? I also have very bad problems with anxiety ruining my life. Nightmares, ptsd, etc. A pharmacist said I should be on klonopin for the night mares and the night pains. But that's another drug he won't hear of giving me. Am I with the wrong guy? I've been having problems with my methadone. I am taking it to get off of painkillers so i have a few questions and would love some feedback asap. So i just started the methadone clinic 3 weeks ago and I've made it up to 70 mgs. Well first it's very weird but since about 40 mgs my lower back is in severe pain and it's a pain I can't really explain. It's like it feels it's stretching my lower back muscles but tightening them at the same time. Why is this happening?
