I was on methadone 5mg and my doctor put me on 10mg. I wanted to know if I can take two of the 5mg until they are gone. And than take the 10 mg. ## Yes, that is usually fine, unless your doctor has said otherwise. I've done it with various medications over the years. I was given 3 x 10 mg doses of methadone in the hospital. The last 10 mg dose was yesterday at 6 pm when I realized the mistake and had them stop it. I am now home and need to take my zubsolv but am scared to. They know nothing about mixing the two at hospital and were no help. How long before I can take my zubsolv? I take a half a pill per day please answer ASAP. I am very sick. ## You usually have to be in full withdrawal, before you can take Zubsolv, unless your doctor advises otherwise. I have horrible daily pain due to my L5S1 disc is almost completely collapsed and now my L4/5 is bulging and torn. Plus last MRI showed changes in my bone due to long term degenerative disc disease. Anyways I've seen my pain dr for almost 10 yrs. I've also seen two surgeons after doing 33 procedures who told me I need to do a double fusion yet I know a lot who haven't had a good result plus I'm a hair dresser so I have to be able to stand all day. I have been seeing a doc for 4 yrs for pain management who put me on 100 mg. Methadone. He left his practice and his replacement won't prescribe methadone. I have called multiple pain management docs who will not take me at this mg level. I have tried everything else before and need a LAS VEGAS area doc who will see me soon. ## In a way, you may be creating your own problem here. If you are calling other doctors and asking if they will prescribe Methadone at your current dosage level, then just about all of them are going to say no. There are many generic manufacturers and each one of them will make a pill that looks different. There are no rules saying that pills with the same ingredient have to look the same! Hi all. I am overcoming an H addiction and have been taking MMT for just over a week. The first week went great. Now, I cannot stop throwing up. Here is what I have taken, I am administered the red/pink liquid: - Last Monday (3/9) and Tuesday I was on 30mg (taken at 5:15 AM) - Wednesday, Thursday, Friday I was on 40mg (taken at 5:15 AM) - Saturday, Sunday, and Monday I was on 50mg (taken at 7 AM) - and today (3/17) I was on 60mg (taken at 5:15 AM) Yesterday I threw up about 6 times from 7:30 AM until noon. I would like to know if norcos and methadone both show up as barbiturates or opiates basically in the same category in a hair follicle test? ## They will show up as opiates. ## Methadone is in its own category on a 12 panel test. I am an opiate addict. I have abused prescription painkillers for over 20 years. (Now up to 65-70 per day) I also am a heroin addict. (Now up to 7 bags a day) I insufflate and take my pills by mouth, and I abuse heroin. I'm next in line to be put on a Methadone Maintenance Treatment Program at a place where there are 200 people on the waiting list. I also take Klonopin 1 mg 3 x daily as needed for anxiety and panic attacks. I was taking 90 mg of methadone daily. I switched back to Roxicodone. wats the ratio of methadone to roxy? I use it for cronic pain. Been on Methadone for many years via a pain clinic. I am 66. I take 50 mg. daily. and was stable and reasonably pain free until this year. I fell and broke 5 ribs on two different occasions and a slight fractured hip and torn muscles on a third fall. These falls happened while training protection dogs.For about 8-9 months I was taking about 60 mgs. of oxycodone on top of the methadone with no effect on pain - ouch!.
