I was in a car accident when I was 16 and have 2 slipped discs, degenerate disc disease, and Chron's disease. I started taking pain medication young and developed a tolerance so I moved to Washington, Spokane and haven't found a Dr to take me. I got on the methadone clinic paying cash. I lost my job and I got kicked off. I am so sick. I need a Dr to prescribe methadone please help.

Oh I apologize....So have you been on methadone for 14 years now since you started???Its in the top 3 of the hardest drug to quit and to detox from

Wow I cant believe any dr would put a guy ur age on methadone....I dont think methadone works that well for your type of pain anyhow,,its more for withdrawal type pain....I recommend tryin to get away from all opiate type pain killers or your life is gonna start out rough....Its ok in the beginning,but trust me man,what youre goin thru now is gonna be multiplied by 100 if its long term....Im not by any means judging you or tellin you what to do,but alot of people warned me about opiates and I didnt listen....Im payin the price too for ever getting hooked on em

I'm so sorry to hear about your situation, you are definitely not alone in this. Just know that you will find the help you need, if you believe it's possible.

This may be slightly off topic, but I also recommend eating plenty of fruits and vegetables and staying hydrated throughout the day, doing so should significantly aid your body in detoxing quicker. In addition what I just mentioned, you should try to get plenty of rest each night and do some light exercise for an hour each day to help sweat out any toxins and get your lymphatic system flowing (which will significantly aid in detoxification as well). Exercise doesn't need to be complicated or challenging, taking a walk/bike ride around your neighborhood a couple times a day will work just great!
