Methadone Doctor's In Philadelphia

Please help me I'm on methadone and have been for a few years I live in Philadelphia I go to a clinic in a horrible neighborhood and can't take it anymore I have been robbed, almost rapped exc going there everyday of my life! I need my medication just as any other person needs there medication, I don't believe I should have to go there and deal with this and People whom are still using drugs! Need a Methadone DOCTOR that I can go to and get my Medication like everyone else that takes medication!I have keystone first insurance.If you think you can HELP ME PLEASE LET ME KNOW ASAP. THANK YOU!

I'm sorry, but a regular doctor is not allowed, by law, to prescribe it for addiction treatment. A clinic is your only option. I wish I had better news for you, many others have also complained about the clinics being in dangerous areas, but there's nothing that can be done about it, at this time.

This is a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation.

Is there another clinic in your area that you could switch to?
