What company makes these ASC 116 and when did they come out on the market?

Does anybody know anything about Opana or Hydromorphone? i have been taking these for 2 months. I take anywhere between 8-12 a day and feel nothing. I am taking the medication that is made by Roxanne. Are these pills a joke? Or have i built such a tolerence to opiates that nothing is gonna work for me? they are the 10mg instant release.

Yes I've been on methadone for about three years now taking the mallinckrot and roxane brands with no problem and help with my severe back pain. I live here in Kansas and every pharmacy here switched to the s***ty acsend brand first day of taking them put me in almost full blown withdraws severe migrane and diarrhea not only that putting me in the hospital! This went on everyday for two miserable weeks until after about ten pharmacies one still had the mallinkrot brand. Besides the point this acsend manufacturer should be put out of business I hate the Acsend brand period! This medication is supposed to help you not make you feel like total crap and potentially kill people from withdraws!

I have been on methadone for 10years. I have tried them all and all I can say is. Whether it's in your head or because of in active ingredients I feel there is a difference. Not if one.is stronger than another but how your body takes it. I have been taking the coffin ones for two years & last month I got the asc 116 and I felt different. I talked to my doctor& he believes it's because my body got used to the inactive ingredients. So remember it depends on your body any.other medications you are taking and your life style.you know your body so listen to it.

livelife you are exactly right, I had been on the boxed ones too for about 2-3 years and then in late 2013 I got those ascend in my prescription and not only did they not help my pain at all they gave me the shakes..I called my pharmacist and told him and he then thought that was going to be the only one available from thenon.Thankfully he was wrong I haven't got another one yet and hope I never do..As a matter of fact when I got those after taking them I posted if anyone else had the same problem? At that time I didn't receive any responses so I'm assuming they were pretty new and no one else had gotten them yet..

I would like to say I have been on methadones for over five years and I get the coffin shaped ones. The ones labeled 54/142 seem to work just as well as the coffin shaped ones but its been my experience that the new asc 116 do not work for me at all. It takes twice as many of them and they are still less effective n relieving my pain

Absolutely. Methadone is methadone... I've been on 150mgs per day for over 15 years and I just took the asc116 and they do me the very same

I have NEVER posted in ANY forum before and feel as if I have some thing to add today !! So lucky you :D ! Any hoo . This morning as I do every morning there are "vitamins" and "supplements" to had or taken ! I ask my other half for my breakfast. When I sat down and just happened to notice different #'s and ASC ! On a script that's supposed to be same one filled 2 weeks ago. ( So he's holding out on me and has a secret stash - but we'll save that for another day ) But AHH HAAA - there it is - in black & white ! The reason I have been feeling less than my best ( as I can be right now ) and why I feel as if im going thru withdrawl every 30 minutes .. stomach upset and almost an allergic reaction feeling . I have taken BOTH brands and I assure anyone who thinks the "other people" are lying or all in their head. Its not . Its NOT stronger or weaker per say, its the FILLERS that are bodies are reacting to . the METHADONE in both is the same, but the fillers that are added to fill in the rest of the missing piece of the standrard pill size is not. If they didn't have fillers. it would essentially be straight M-DONE ( like roxy 30's yum yum ) So to fill in whatever blanks they have left after they add methadone is culprit.

One brand of methadone vs. another brand.

Some meds get into your system faster than others and all pills can't be exactly the same. Same medicine but there are variables. Can't see it making a real big difference in how you feel. Been on Methadone 15 years never had a problem.

You are a NURSE AND YOU JUST SAID AN OPIATE WAS CUT WITH NARCAN? Where did you get your degree COST CO thats f-in craziest thing i ever heard. And whether pills are diffrent if they put 10mgs of methadone on a prescription there is 10mg of methadone in it and bottom line you can all say you take methadone for pain but if your on it for years guess what your an addict welcome take some more and call in the morning.

My doctor gave me these for pain but I feel like I'm going through a withdrawal. Are they to help me with my back pain or help me come down from the other meds I was on?? I'm so confused?? I thought they changed my meds because I had back surgery and am in a ton of pain and nothing else was helping. Please help me understand. Thanks

I think it's a matter of opinion because EVERY OTHER PERSON that I have spoken to about this, including a double amputee, can tell no difference between them. The only people that have been able to tell the difference said that it helps their pain but just doesn't make them feel high. I was not mean or rude in my post. I was simply giving my OPINION just like what you have said is JUST YOUR OPINION. YOU ARE NOT A PROFESSIONAL. Trying to tell a person with one leg and who has had 46 separate surgeries after almost dying in a car accident, and who has come down from 150mg to 90, "If they work for you then you don't need them, period!" Thanks Dr. Oh? You aren't a Dr? Then gtf over yourself. Telling people what they do and do not need. *****, lol.

I have taking the long methadone taps for 5 years, just recently went to another pharmacy and they gave me the new round ones everyone is posting about. There is no difference. If there was after being on the other kind for so long they new ones would have been like starting all over and I'd of been sick. If u got sick try drink milk about 20 mn. Before taking it. Or a bite of food. As for me there's no difference!

Ive been takin methadone round and rectangle since 2009- i just had my first asc116 and was happy with the result, so i dont agree with everyone saying its s*** and completly agree with it being in ya heads. Whether the inactive ingridient you are more sensitive to or not. You got your dif brand pills and in the back of your mind decided they suck before you took them and then your body helped your brain out with concouisly deciding. Also those lower pills wont have an effect on you if youve been takin methadone long. Daulid should give you result though

I agree!! I was sick as hell one day (withdrawal) I took the AC-116 & in 10-15 minutes I was "Fine"! It worked for me!;)

BS you pooped them out. they melt in your mouth. the only way that would be halfway believable is if it were the new formula used so people dont abuse oxycontin. you basically let us all know you're A drug addict that will say anything to get what they want. its all in your head. I just took my ascend for the first time and no better or worse than malincodrt or any others.
