Metformin-pyridoxin Hydrocloride-letrozole-dufaston

Hello,I have diagonalized with PCOS and in a medication of Metformin+pyridoxin hydrocloride+letrozole+dufaston tablets since a month.I was aking birth control Crisanta before this to make my ovaries in better condition before trying to conceive.but now i feel vaginal dryness and not feeling the arousal after several attempt.If somebody in similar medication facing this problem.If there is a way out..if using any lubricant .I have heard about Pre-seed ,if anybody tried and got results.pls reply.

Oh my goodness, yes!!! I am on Metformin and Letrazole and the vaginal dryness is awful. Even when aroused there is no moisture whatsoever. I am planning on trying trying the Pre-seed lubricant this month, and will let you know I wish you the best of luck!

hi... i ALSo encountered on that kind of problem,,, i had a vaginal dryness when taking duphaston and metformin,,, my husband sometimes ask me if i dont love him because he thinks he wont arouse me during our intercourse,,, i want to get pregnant but how will it happen if im very dry and no libido at all,, pls help me...

Hello Lucy,

Vaginal dryness is listed among the potential side affects associated with this medication. To help provide relief for this problem you can use lubricant but as you stated the pre-seed lubricant would be best suited for someone who is trying to get pregnant. The reason for this is that unlike other lubricants the pre-seed lubricant allows the sperm to swim freely and actually provides antioxidants that aid the sperm on their journey to the egg.

On a more personal note when being intimate with your partner it is going to be important to have open communication. When the vaginal walls are not properly lubricated they are more likely to be damaged and this can lead to inability or less desire to try again in the near future. Being open and communicating can help alert your partner when you feel uncomfortable or feel that something is wrong.
