Re: TERRY (# 2)
I had the same problem (in the bathroom so often while at work that my co-workers were bugging me about it). This was TOTALLY solved by taking Metformin ER (“extended release”). You may want to ask your doctor to switch you over.
My stupid mail order drug company has always sent 500mg Metformin tabs. I took two each morning and two each night. Without warning, they sent 1000mg tabs and by the time I noticed it, I had already taken two on Monday evening, then two more on Tuesday morning. I realized Tuesday evening what I had done and this was after fighting sleep all day long on Tuesday. Looking back, I know now that I was severly hypoglycemic, but at the time I had little brain function obviously! Does anyone know if there are long term effects from this?
What does the metformin tablet look like? One pharmacist filled it with a white oval shaped tablet with 93 0n one side and 48 on the other. When I got a refill it was a round tablet with the letter A on one side and the number 12 on the other?
