Was taking Metformin HCL ER TABS 750mg by Teva. Got new insurance and they sent Metformin ER TAB 750mg by Watson. Are they the same?

I am buying Metformin at Walmart and it says: Metformin 1000MG TAB HER.
Is anyone knows what is: "HER"?

Was taking metformin er 750 mg with side effects (by amneal lab). Picked up prescription from pharmacy for metformin er 750 mg from andrx lab. Anyone takin this med from andrx lab? If so, what side effects should I look for? I believe this company is also Watson mfg . Correct me if I am wrong.

They are both the same medicaton, the HCL just stands for Hydrochloride, which designates the precise chemical salt the medication is derived from and wasn't included as an abbreviation on the second one from Watson.
