Metformin Er 500 Mg. Tab By Mylan
UpdatedI got my Metformin refilled and I always have gotten the white oval tablet that has IP 178 on it. This time it is a large round pinkish beige color with M and then underneath that is MN2. Please let me know if this is a form of Metformin?

Yes, this tablet is manufactured by Mylan Pharmaceuticals and they list it as containing 500mgs of Metformin in a time released formulation.
The FDA lists its typical side effects as possibly including nausea, dizziness, stomach pain, flatulence, and diarrhea.
Is there anything else I can help with?
