Metformin 500mg Tab Her

i have been taking metformin. the label said metformin 500mg HCL. for a better price i had my prescription transferred to another drugstore for i still had several refills left. the label at the new drugstore says metformin 500mg. her. is metformin 500mg hcl the same as metformin 500mg her?

Yes, it's the same medication, just a different abbreviation that the new pharmacy is using.
