Metanx Works For Pedal Neuropathy

My neurologist was helping me with a minor stroke workup. As an afterthought, I said "I'm sure you can do nothing for my pedal neuropathy," and turned to leave his office. He replied, "Pedal neuropathy? I can help you with that." He gave me a telephone number, apparently the one to PamLab. They sent me a 90-day supply for $238. Having suffered the ol' numb foot, increasingly tweaked by pains, for the last 11 years, I figured I'd give it a try. Well, by golly, just three weeks into taking these two-a-day capsules, I have improved considerably, to the point where I can again walk about in my yard in bare feet. And I go sock-footedly about the house again. I'm just amazed my GP doesn't know about Metanx.

Hello, Kitster! How are you? I'm very glad that the Metanx is helping you.

A GP does not have as much training on such things as a specialist does, so they don't always know of everything that's available.

Additionally, this isn't classified as an actual medication. The FDA classifies it as a medical food, because it's a nutritional supplement that contains nutrients that support nerve health. Its typical side effect is nausea in some people that take it.

Is there anything I can help with?
