Metallic Taste & Reaction

I need specific details on interaction of ornidazole with alcohol (% of cases) and occurrence of metallic taste.

I'm afraid that finding such information is going to be difficult.

Medications and their possible reactions with alcohol is not something that is actually studied, during the testing phases. Most reports occur later, when the medication is available for real world use and someone drinks, when taking it.

However, it is a well known fact that alcohol can cause some medications to not work as well as they should and with most, it aggravates the side effects that a person may experience.

The metallic taste the can occur is not actually attributed to alcohol consumption. It is actually caused by the nitro moiety of the drug.
