Confused patient Says:
Sat, January 21, 2017

I had a doctor's appointment on 1/19/17. my results came back that I had an urinary tract infection and yeast infection. the doc prescribed me diflucan t tae for 3 days then on the 4th day, which is today, start taking my antibiotics for my UTI. Every time I use the bathroom I see the yeast in the toilet. .. Weird and Confused, I'm used to the cottage cheese look not this loose runny stuff. Is this normal? Is this considered drainage? Never saw this kind before. I'm not feeling like I was before. not much itching. how long does it take for the diflucan to clear me all the way up and how long is this drainage suppose to last?

Yes, that can happen, and it may take a week, or so to fully clear up.

How are you doing, now? Has there been any more changes?

Has your UTI cleared up?

Along with the discharge, Diflucan may also cause other side effects, such as nausea, irritation, redness, and diarrhea.
