i am 31 yrs having pcos. i underwent ivf & had baby a year back. now for past 45 days i have heavy bleeding and also put on weight. doctor 1st advised me Meprate, since no improvement, again advised Meprate with Fefol Z. i was not advied for any ultra sound scan or any other test. kindly advise me i am n right path?

How long will the menstrual meprate 10mg taking the pill?

Some blood work should be done to check what exactly is causing it, as well as an ultrasound.

It could be due to a hormonal imbalance, but that's not really likely if the Meprate hasn't helped, since it contains Medroxyprogesterone.

Have you visited an Ob Gyn or just a regular doctor for it?

A general practitioner may not know all the possibilities involved.
