Melmet contains the active ingredient Metformin and yes, it is sometimes used to help with polycystic ovary disease, because it has been shown that it can be improved by increasing insulin resistance.

i have fbs is 78,tsh is 2.65,fsh is 7.08,lh is 21.21,prl is 10.36,insulin-fasting is 2.71,hcg-# is 0.53,testosterone is 0.50 and pelvic scan ia normal but i hva not got reggular periods i use metformin 500mg , this can also chance for pragnency or only for regulise priods or it is not effect for gettting pragnency please send me reply

am taking melmet sr 500 Dr.prescibed this for 6 months and along with that am taking the pill novelon.after 6 months did i got the chance for pregnancy
