Medroxyprogesterone is a form of the hormone Progesterone, which is essential to the female body.

What types of problems are you experiencing?

The FDA lists its typical side effects as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, weight changes, mood changes, and irregular menstrual bleeding.

Ref: Medline Plus Medroxyprogesterone

I've been dealing with perimenopause symptoms for years, and I tried a natural form of Progesterone for awhile a few years ago, and it made me miserable. I became very emotional, irritable, it caused me to have spotting almost all the time, and my period cramps were even worse than usual, so I stopped using it.

Are you on an other medications?
