i have had irregular periods practically since i started one.. but in 2012 i started having regular periods but as of july 2013 it stoped. my ob/gyn perscribe me the medicine and i have only 3.. i am trying to get pregnant. is it possible since this pill is to regulate my period and to help balance my hormone can i get pregnant?

I haven't had my period in a while now, can't remember the last time so lets say around 6-7 months ago.. just recently I was prescribed a medroxyprogesterone for my irregular periods. I was told to take 10mg for 5 days by the doctor. I went to the pharmacy and they gave me 5mg in a pack of 20 because they didn't have the 10mg in stock which meant that i had to take 2x 5mg which adds up to 10mg but I'm unsure what the other 10 tablets (5mg) are for.. are they for when if I fail to have my period after taking the tablets for 5 days? please help! thanks.

Yes, progesterone is vital to both a normal menstrual cycle and your ability to get pregnant.

I can't promise you that it will work, but for the best possible outcome, it would be wise to follow your doctor's instructions.
