I just took my last two pills of day one of this medrol pack. My doctor prescribed it for the inflammation in my throat. I felt good all day but after taking these last two this evening, I'm feeling some chest tightness. Is this normal? Also, how long for these pills to wear off so I can sleep?

This is a normal side effect of this medication, according to NIH studies, you may also experience nausea, dizziness, headache, acne, and fluid retention.
How severe is the tightness?
Such side effects usually linger for a week, or so, after you finish the course of treatment.
However, given the chest tightness, it would be best to consult your doctor to be safe.
